Since 2004, Dr. Brooke Riley, PT, DPT, has continued the legacy of her mentors, Dr. Karen Sawyer, PT, DPT, and Dr. Michelle Brown, MPT, DPT, by providing physical therapy services to those who are unable to afford private care in rural Jamaica. Dr. Sawyer and Dr. Brown still to play a vital role by making annual visits to Jamaica to help in the clinic and serving on FOR U’s board.
Working alongside Dr. Riley is Dr. Bethany Wolf, PT, DPT. The FOR U team treats patients at a local health clinic run by the Catholic Diocese five days per week. The FOR U Team treats patients at their clinic five days per week and performs home visits when needed throughout St. Elizabeth Parish.
Patients are asked to pay a nominal fee or are treated free of cost if unable to pay for services rendered. All equipment used is donated through volunteer medical teams from the U.S.
